Prefix A prefix is an affix which is placed before the root of a word. (إضافة قبل الكلمة) 1] بعضها قبل الصفة وتسمى Adjective prefixes 2] بعضها قبل الاسم وتسمى Noun prefixes 3] وبعضها قبل الفعل وتسمى Verb prefixes the prefix in the bold, and the meaning of the prefix only is between the parentheses.
