- Participants learn by doing.
- Use realistic examples.
- Participants relate their learning to what they already know.
- Conduct the training in an informal environment.
- Variety is the spice of life.
- Remove the fear factor.
- Serve as the facilitator of the learning process.
- Inform participants of the learning objectives.
- Practice makes perfect.
- Guide and prompt; do not tell.
- Give feedback.
- Understand transfer of training.
- Relate all activities to the learning objectives.
- Show enthusiasm.
